Dr. Paul Theologou - PhD (Geology) - Senior Petrophysicist Dr Paul Theologou graduated with an Honours degree in Applied Geology from the University of South Australia in 1991. Paul then completed his PhD in Applied Geology at University of South Australia and the National Centre for Petroleum Geology and Geophyics in 1995. During his studies, Paul completed an extensive reservoir characterisation study of a reservoir-seal system, integrating data from many sources. Paul joined the petrophysics group at Santos Ltd. in 1995 and worked on petrophysical field reviews for field development and reservoir simulation, as well as tight gas petrophysics. In 1996 Paul joined ACS Laboratories as a research petrophysicist where he was an integral part of the development of the corEVAL laboratory methods and software module. During this period Paul developed strong core-log integration skills. Paul worked for PTM as a consultant petrophysicist from 1999 until 2000. Paul provides petrophysical consulting services, Geolog support and training of the following courses; Geolog6 Intro, Admin, Determin, Multimin, Loglan and corEVAL. Paul founded the company in 2000, and continues to provide management direction. Dr. Stephen Pell - PhD (Geology) - Senior Petrophysicist Dr Stephen Pell graduated with a Honours degree in Geology from University of Adelaide in 1990. Stephen then completed his PhD in Applied Geochemistry at the Research School of Earth Sciences, Australian National University in 1994. During his studies, Stephen completed an extensive provenance study of major Australian sedimentary basins, integrating data from many sources and utilizing many geochemical techniques. Stephen joined the petrophysics group at Santos Ltd. in 1997 with responsibilities for both exploration and field development projects. During his time at Santos Ltd, Stephen completed several major field reviews integrating log data with that from RCA and SCAL programs. Stephen has a strong background in the analysis of shaley sand reservoirs using both deterministic and optimizing approaches. Stephen also spent two years working as a reservoir engineer working on field development projects at Santos Ltd. Stephen joined the Saros Group in 2004 in the role of Principal Petrophysicist. Neil Hookway - Honours (Applied Geology) - Formation Evaluation Technologist/Junior Petrophysicist Neil Hookway is a graduate of Geology (Honours) from the University of Liverpool, England. Neil has extensive experience in working with Geolog having formerly been Paradigm's primary support within the Asia Pacific region. Whilst with Paradigm and since joining Saros, Neil has been involved in a number of Geolog based data management projects including the design of Woodside's Geolog data model, multiple upgrades of the Santos log libraries and the building of a new Geolog database from scratch for Amerada Hess (Malaysia). Neil has recently been working for Inpex in Perth advising them on their role-out of Geolog and database architecture. Neil is on the steering committee for the AsiaPacific Geolog User Group (APGUP). Bill Fawcett - B Sc (Hons) Geology - Senior Petrophysicist
