The director of environmental services for The Saros Group, Tony Zoitsas, will be on hand to provide practical demonstrations and to explain how blasthub.com can benefit your operation. The Saros Group recently announced the
launch of blasthub.com, a centralised web-based data management system to
help mining and quarrying operations maintain accurate records of their
blasting activities: Saros to Exhibit at Mining2003 Conference:
The Saros Group Pty Ltd is a Brisbane based niche services company providing environmental compliance and monitoring services for vibration and air-overpressure in the construction and quarrying industries. Saros also provides blast optimisation services, and instrumentation sales and rental. Saros will be at Booth 50. Saros signs distributorship agreement with Instantel:
"The Saros Group has been successful in making its mark as a niche player in the petroleum consulting industry, and is currently building it's reputation as a niche player for asset intensive industries in the areas of business strategy and specialised environmental services," said Dr Theologou. "As proof of our commitment to this new environmental services business stream, we appointed Tony Zoitsas as Director of environmental services" he said. "Whilst we will continue to provide vibration and blast consulting
services to our clients, we realize that the provision of reliable and
cost effective instrumentation (which is supported locally) is a critical
component of the solutions that our clients want" said Tony Zoitsas.
"This distributorship means that we can now provide instrumentation
solutions to our clients who require just that. We see the supply of instrumentation
sales and rental as a critical component of our future business. We chose
to approach Instantel because of their strong world wide reputation for
providing quality products at a competitive price, their strong track
record, and their professional approach." Saros appoints environmental services director:
"We see the addition of this new business stream as being completely in-line with our strategic focus of providing niche consulting services to asset intensive industries such as Oil and Gas, Mining and construction" said DR Theologou. Tony Zoitsas recently left Blastronics where he worked as a Blast and Vibration consultant.
"theoLOG was successful in making its mark as a niche player in the petroleum consulting industry, but it became obvious that the petroleum industry and other asset-intensive sectors require a range of specialised consulting services such as business and technology services that are specifically tailored to their industry," said Dr Theologou. "We have re-launched theoLOG as The Saros Group to reflect the broader offering we can now provide both through our in-house consultants as well as through the alliances we have formed with other companies," he said. The Saros Group recently appointed David Sebestyen as Director of business and technology services. Business consultant marks new direction for theoLOG:
"David brings a wealth of experience in corporate strategic management, technology integration, project management and professional services, which we plan to target to our existing customer base". David was previously employed by on-line advantage a B2B solutions provider, and has previously worked for major business consulting firms such as Earnst and Young and Sedwick.
